Do you ever have that gut feeling that there is something very wrong going on in the country these days? Well... there is... The Republic is in more danger now than it has ever been... The important thing is to not get caught up in the diversions that are laid in front of us. As Americans, we must pull together to uphold the basics of our country, our founding principles, and documents that have made us the envy of the world. It is not about Republicans vs. Democrats, or Liberals vs. Conservatives. It is not about Obama, or any of the other things that are pushed on us through the media. It is really all about a huge, all powerful, intrusive federal government, that wants to control every aspect of our lives vs. a very small limited federal government, that is restricted in its scope by the constitution, and leaves the power in the peoples hands, promoting personal liberty, freedom, and prosperity for everyone... Much of the massive spending and debt that is being forced upon us is not in the federal governments constitutional powers. Most divisive issues we face should be handled by the states and local government, if at all. The federal government over the last hundred years has incrementally overstepped its authority. One small baby step at a time. The pace of big government expansion recently has accelerated, and this forces the average folks in this country to step up and get educated to what is really going on and fight it, or loose for all time the shining city on a hill. If your representatives do not uphold "The Constitution of the United States" by his or her actions and votes then vote them out... Regardless of party affiliation or rhetoric... Talk is cheap. Politicians buying our favor and votes with our own money must stop. Pork barrel projects must stop. Blood was spilled and fortunes lost to give us liberty and freedom. Will you give it away for free, without a fight. If we do not stop these progressives, by the ballot, then there are only two end results possible, neither of them are very good...Welcome to the "T-Party"...

Help Save the Republic: By Big-T of 30cal.com 02/12/2010

Oh, Lord God Almighty, just where do I start? At the beginning? There is no way I can explain everything in the detail that is needed in just one essay like this. I can say that I am seriously pissed off. The federal government has been screwing with me one way or another for my entire adult life, and I have had enough. And what is going on now just escalates it to new all time levels, and I vow to spend the rest of my life to put a wooden steak through the heart of this progressive movement once and for all. It can't just be beaten to raise its ugly head later, its existence has to be totally exterminated. What I plan to do here is give you a quick summery and point you in the right direction, but it is up to you to follow up and read our founding documents and go back and learn a little real history. Then stay up on current events, not necessarily what is in the headlines of the old lame-stream media. That is usually just a diversion from the important story, that they did not cover. The links on this page are a good start, and Glen Becks reading list will get you there on a fast-track, not like the years it took me. But I digress.

Way back when, as a young man in grade school, I was taught history. I hated history. Memorizing names, dates, and places was such a bore, as I was more of a math and science guy. The reason I disliked history, as it was shown to me, is they missed the whole point of history. I did not discover history really until after I graduated from the university level of education that I have. You see, history is not dry memorization of names, places, and dates. It is a written snapshot of what it was like to live in some distant time and place, so you would have a personal feel for what it was like and what was really going on. Not some whitewashed and rewritten version to put forth some modern agenda. The purpose and value of history is that it repeats. Human nature is constant, and over time mankind will do what it is inclined to do. Our only hope is that someone wrote it down, so many years later after all who were involved are dead and gone, we have a record of the heroes and villains. This record gives us the experience to avoid the pitfalls and not make the same expensive mistakes again and again.

Being in the age group just behind the "baby boomers", I was subjected to the stagflation of the Carter years just after I graduated from high school and moved out of my parents home to make my own way in this world. The economy was flat on its ass, and crazy high interest rates and inflation. Those ahead of me by a few years had bought their houses and rode the inflated prices of real estate. The guys my age kept trying to save up that down payment, only to have the the price race ahead of us. It sucked. Being single, I did not want to settle down and get married until I got ahead of this game. But, being single they (Big Government) decided I did not need the money I was earning so they stole about half of it. To give it to single moms who were gaming the system and applying for every little program out there. Food stamps, cash payments, rent subsidies, utility subsidies, and on and on. It really pissed me off. By this time I realized that the government was totally out of control and going down a bad path. In the end if we continued, there was nothing but disaster ahead. I started reading our founding documents and learning our history, and realized we were all being screwed, by the folks in Washington D.C., that they were crooks, and lining there own pocket at our expense. The Constitution and other supporting documents that they were ignoring, and did not seem to have the force of law anymore, were the same documents that gave them the power of their office in the first place. So the way I saw it was that if there is no Constitution, then there is no office of senator or congressman either... I could not figure out why people let them get away with this corruption. Jefferson wrote that the country needed to be watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants every twenty years or so to keep things straight... Were we not as good as our forefathers? I remember my dad, God rest his soul, telling me that as long as the population has a new station wagon in the driveway and a TV in the house, nobody will do anything... Nobody wants to rock the boat and risk what they have accomplished. They have there life better or worse. And are busy with work and family, and nobody has the time, energy, or assets to keep an eye on these guys full time. In short they have a life. And the lying, thieving, whores that run this country and have been running it for some years now, know this. And that emboldens them. About this time dear old Ronnie gets elected and points the country in the right direction. Like he said, government can not solve the problem... government is the problem. What the D.C. beltway boys don't realize is we don't need them. In-fact if the earth opened up and swallowed all of D.C. and all that work there we would not even notice, except that we would all seem to be doing better, and be better off for it.

Lets go back in time for a minute... about a hundred years. The 19th century America was vastly different then what we had in the 20th century. Sure we had our problems, but we were advancing as a nation, and correcting things that needed it. We freed the slaves, slavery being a national sin as far as I am concerned. We won the west and our country was starting to develop its own unique personality. That was a time of great adventure, growth, and liberty and freedom. In the early 20th century everything changed and all kinds of bad things happened, and one of the worst Presidents of all time came to power. Look it up and do your own research, Woodrow Wilson was a real SOB... And his actions are still damaging us today. The federal reserve banking system, and later the new deal... You see these scum bags were "progressives" and wanted to "change" the country from what it was, into something that was not constitutional. They went so far as to make the word "progressives" a dirty word in the culture of the day. That is when they went underground and renamed themselves to be called "liberals". Remember that J. F. K. by today's standards would be a right of center Republican. Remember..."Ask not what your country can do for you...". So the progressive movement infiltrated the democratic party and took it over and assumed the descriptive name of "liberal". They also infiltrated the Republican party, but to a lessor extent. They kept pushing the progressive agenda until the word liberal became a dirty word and today... Presto they all have gone back to referring to themselves as progressives again. Today all but a very few congressmen are progressives. And yes that is both sides of the aisle. Remember the contract with America. We gave the majority to the Republicans and they screwed us. They spent like drunken Democrats, as they were also progressive in mindset. No character, no principles, no honor, no virtue... They just lined their pockets like the rest. Lying, thieving, whores... every one, both sides... So far I can count six representatives that are worth keeping. And like I said, that is from both sides.

The thing to remember is Marxism is socialism, and communism is just socialism in a hurry. With communism you have a big all controlling government and it is installed with tanks in the street and at the end of a gun barrel. Socialism is not much different. It is still a big all controlling government, but instead of moving forward violently and quickly, it is implemented very slowly, inch by inch, If you move too fast you wake up the sleeping giant. And there is not any difference between socialists and progressives, except for name... This is the same movement from Woodrow Wilson's time that has been active in the background, behind closed doors. It is what Obama is, it is what his staff is, as well as most of our representatives... They are intrenched in the school system K-12 and university levels. They are entrenched in all levels of our bureaucracy at all levels of government. We need to clean house. Yes I understand that more than half of the country is on the receiving end of this scam. So when you ask two wolves and a sheep to vote on what they are having for dinner. It is obvious that the sheep gets eaten... But what I ask, is to remember we are not a democracy... We are a republic. And there is a big difference. Spreading democracy around the world is like spreading tooth decay... Not a good thing. We are a nation of laws and not of men... Do you know what that means? A nation of laws like ours is a nation that is founded on law and principle, with common values, and protects the individual from the tyranny of the masses. A democracy is just mob rule. While our elected officials are democratically elected, their actions are restrained by law. If you throw out the founding law, then you throw out the republic and have worse than nothing...

I am conservative in just about everything, but I understand there are people on the other end of the spectrum. We may have different views, but we also have much common ground. The health and wealth of our country is a benefit to us all. All original wealth comes from one of three areas. They are farming, mining and manufacturing. All other activities just move the wealth around that is created by these three original sources. Farming would include fishing, and the lumber industry and mining would include exploring and extracting energy sources. These are all private sector pursuits. And historically have made up about half of the private sector business. The other half is the service industry. While the service industry is important, it is useless if we don't have the original wealth produced by the other half. We can not have an economy where we just sit around and sell each other hamburgers. We will both go broke. Someone has to inject the original wealth... Now I'm not even taking about the public sector yet. When you have a majority of the jobs in the private sector with the correct mix of original wealth industries and service industries you can afford a reasonable amount of public sector jobs in the economy. The public sector is a consuming sector and provides no original wealth. It is a luxury as far as economies are involved... But here is the problem. We crossed the tipping point. We cut water rights to farmers in California, we stopped logging in Oregon to save an owl, we have not built a fuel refinery since the 1970's because of environmental regulations, we outlawed offshore oil drilling, just about all of our manufacturing has been driven off shore because of taxes and over-regulation, and on and on and on... Today in America, more than half of the jobs are now public sector. And as a voting block they vote their self interest to the point that the income from the average government job is more than twice that of the average private sector worker and the unions have got them outrageous benefits, by private sector standards. As we sit now I can understand the "I got mine" and the hell with you attitude that is human nature. But lets look at this for a minute. We have this ponzi scheme of social security and such. A ponzi scheme only works if you have more and more people signing up. So where are the new people that are suppose to be keeping the bottom of the pyramid full? Well, about forty years of abortions, have killed millions who would just now be coming into their prime working age... Unintended consequences? And we have a full population of seniors who abuse their "free" health care... How much does it cost, and do I need it? Who cares it is free and I deserve it. Right? Then there is the government jobs and excess government spending. Well yes you can keep voting for your self-interest. But at the expense of the country? Keep it up and kill the golden goose, then what have you got? A third world country? We have a generation that seems willing to sell their children and grandchildren into poverty and slavery just so they can get theirs. Those who are the direct benefactors of public money, what good is it if you break the country? Think of pre-WW2 Germany, The government workers were paid three times a day, because the currency inflated so fast that the pay from the mornings work was just about worthless by afternoon. The wife would meet her husband at the gate and get his one third of a days pay and rush to spend it on food and such, before it devalued. This ended up with the wheelbarrow full of cash to buy just one loaf of bread scenario. Will those private sector people who were robbed, to have this excessive spending, roll over and play dead. Or will they get really, really, pissed off and do God knows what. We are at a boiling point, a tipping point, and if we stop now we may be able to pull back from the brink... I don't know. We may be past that point with the damage and debt that is already at our feet. This is serious. I have faith that if the powers that be get thrown out or if they get religion and come clean, and just take their hands off the wheel and leave us alone, the Americans I know will sort this out, and grow the economy. There may need to be some defaulting on debt, and tightening of belts all around. But for sure the federal spending has to be cut, not just frozen. Serious cuts to all federal programs, cutting jobs, cutting wages, whole federal agencies, and a drastic reduction in the size of the federal government. I am talking by at least 50%... maybe more...Why should we fund someone who does nothing but screw with us and make our lives harder than it already is... This will not happen overnight. It took years, no... decades for us to fall so far from grace. It will take decades to fix it. But we must start now.

The T-Party movement is growing and it must not be co-opted by the Republicans or Democrats for that matter. That is what politicians do. Instead the structure of the Republican party needs to be taken over by the T-Party movement. At least the Republicans claim to be for small government. That is better than the Democrats who claim the opposite.

We need thinking Democrats who want to do what is right to join the Independents, and conservative Republicans on this. We can find common ground once the country is on a safe footing again. They use issues to split up Americans so they can loot us and destroy our country. Don't let them. We all need to perfect ourselves, and live by tried and true core principles and values. If we fail I know there are those who will not sit down and shut up, or go silently into the night... I don't want to go there, but once a shot is fired, there will be no calling it back or undoing it. I pray that restraint is shown. If it goes bloody there is no guarantee it will turn out like the first revolution. We might not be as lucky this time, and no telling what you will end up with.

In summary, there are three choices...
1) Vote correctly and get rid of the Marxists/Socialist/Communist/Progressives in power,
2) or get on your knees and lick the masters boots for the next hundred years or so,
3) or pick up a rifle and rock and roll...

Your choice...
